Ic: Wolfheart leaped to her feet and ran twoards Bearfur. "What are we going to do?" she asked franticly. She sat down and started pawing her head. "Think! Think! THINK!" she growled to herself. What would Firestar do in a time like this? The cat she admired most? Suddenly she had it! Do what is right and find out what is right! She sat down and sighed again, not knowing what was right or wrong. They were to clans and its evil if one is destroyed. Yet its still evil if TigerClan was destroyed!

The she cat was roused awake by the yowl of Darkstar's cry to the clan, No, I'm trying to rest.... stop it.... She rolled over on her back and covered her eyes with one of her paws, but it was no use. Why did he have to interupt her joyfull thoughts, why? This war was pointless distraction to hide the fact that Darkstar was insanly greedy for more territory. She just hoped that Cliffheart's plan would succced, beacuse if it did not she wasn't sure what would happen. Shaking those thoughts aside, Petaldancer gave a short huff of displeasure and as she stood, her entire being creaked and groaned like an elder after a nap. Her eyes trailed across the camp as she trotted out of the Sentinal's den, a large evergreen bush with a hole for the cat's to go in. She gracefully menuvered around the other cats to get to Thunderstep's side, "Hey." She murmered. In the back of her own mind, she couldn't help to think that this might be the only time that she would see him again. Petaldancer knew she was being soppy, it was true, but she did have feelings for him, deep inside where no one could see.
Ooc: I'm just gonna pretend that Cliffheart talked to everyone already...
Ic: Cliffheart hadn't slept. He'd been awake and thinking hard at what to do. He didn't have a plan, but he was working on it. The only thing he could come up with at the moment was have someone fast run to LionClan and warn them. If he decided to use that, he had to act immediately. But what would he have them say? Tell LionClan to get out of there? No, that would be cowardly, and LionClan was stronger than that. He growled with frustration. He wanted to run the idea by Nightfang or Bearfur or something, but did he have time for that? The chocolate tom jumped out of the den and paced back and forth, tail flicking. Well, that was his only plan. Time to take a leap of faith and really hope that it works. The tom's eyes searched the gathering clan until he saw Nightfang. He knew that she was dreading this probably more than he was. Would she be willing to run back and warn their home clan? She's a servant, hopefully nobody will notice she's gone, he thought. Cliffheart made his way to her side. "Nightfang, what if I told you you were to run back to LionClan right now and warn them?" he whispered so only she could hear.

Thunderstep glanced sideways at Petaldancer, his heart warming at the sight of her. "Hey," he greeted back, "Moment of truth right?" He chuckled softly and turned his green eyes forward. "I'm not looking forward to this but I'll do my best to do what's right." He turned his eyes back to her, "Stick close to me if you need a partner in the fighting." He grinned warmly at the she-cat, hoping that she wouldn't refuse his offer.
Nightfang looked in surprised at Cliffheart, "Uh, I don't know. What if Darkstar sees me?" The she-cat began to shake, "What if the servants are supposed to go with the army?" As if to answer her question, Darkstar spoke out, "All those other than queens and servants, gather in your ranks. We march out now! The servants shall stay here to take care of the queens." Nightfang looked in shocked at the announcement. She wasn't going to fight? Despite her lack of ability to fight well she did not want to miss this, she had to fight beside Bearfur. Inwardly she growled at herself for her cowardly behavior before, but now was the time to act. She turned her eyes determinedly to Cliffheart, "When the army marches out, I will go the other way around the lake. I will be fast enough on my own so I will be able to warn them in time. Leave it to me. You worry about everyone else."
She turned her head sideways in a playful manner, "You and me, partner's in crime, huh?" Her mouth opened in a peel of chuckles as she gently padded forward. Her blue eyes melded with his for a second, silent messages passed between them as they stood face to face. Pressing her pelt against his chest, she breathed in his foresty scent for a heartbeat, not wanting to leave. She murmered in his ear softly, "Count me in..." Petaldancer suddenly turned and gracefully strode away, making for the Sentenial's rank in the army.
Thunderstep's eyes followed where Petaldancer moved. A goofy grin spreading on his face. "Golly..." he said to himself. He couldn't help the pounding in his chest. Before he was able to play off her words as part of his imagination, but pressing against his chest told him that she did think of him in a special light. He couldn't suppress the smile that tugged at the corner of his lips. His green eyes sparkled with delight at the thought of the future, that is, if he survived this night. He flicked his tail back and forth happily, he felt as if he could fight the whole Dark Forest now. "Bring it on," he chuckled, his eyes shifting to look at each of the Tigerclan cats.
Cliffheart's eyes blazed with pleasant surprise when Darkstar declared that the servants were to stay back. "Okay," he said to Nightfang. "Just be very careful, and get there before we do." With that he strode off to find Bearfur. He wanted to confide in the big tom before going into the most significant thing they would ever do. Cliffheart finally found Bearfur. He padded up to him. "Bearfur?" he said softly. "Nightfang's going to warn LionClan as soon as we leave. Don't forget who you're fighting for. So far things are in our favor, but I sincerely don't feel like we can win this without you." The chocolate warrior took a deep breath."Just do us well and you will be forever in the gratitude of all of us, dead or alive. But let's hope for alive."

Wolfheart looked at the brave Cliffheart with awe. He was an intelligent tom and of course he would come up with a plan. She scolded herself for worrying. Then she looked up at the sky. "StarClan give us luck." she murmured. She wondered if it was going to be a blood moon eclipse. She didn't want Jumpingfox to die, he was a kind old medcine cat. But she also was afraid that there would be a Blood moon eclipse. She thought of it as a bad fortelling.

Bearfur raised an amused eye brow at Cliffheart. "Though my actions have been questionable, do not doubt my loyalty. I shall die for my clan." Turning away, he paused to think. "I have no need to be in the gratitude of others. I just need to know that the ones I care for are safe." Smiling quietly, he nodded. "Good luck and stay safe, Cliffheart. If there is a StarClan, let them bless us." Swerving away, he decided he needed to talk to Nightfang one last time. Sighting his friend, he smiled. "Nightfang." Pausing, he started to walk away again. But he needed to say this before he went out there. "I love you." He said it. He put it out there. There was a tinge of friendship and a touch of something more in his words, but he left it to her to understand. "Please stay safe." And with that, he stalked to Shadestreak's side.
"Are you ready, my friend?" asked the jet-black tom, raising a questioning eyebrow.
"I can die in peace, if that's what you mean."
"No, but that is a good thing as well."

okay, then. unfortunately loving an idiot who doesn't love me back. but i'm not falling. i just kind of... am. .
The inevitable pounding coming from her chest seemed to increase it's volume every few seconds, as if it was a taunting reminder of the coming battle. A sudden rush of humbleness crowned upon the she-cat's pelt as Petaldancer took her place among the chosen few. As her gaze trailed over the moonlight sky , the stars seemed to glow with a radience of beauty she had never seen before. What is this? A night of beauty I have never known to play background to a battle that will mark the histroy of time? Is it really you, StarClan? I fear that you will desert me in my time of need... My clanmate's need you, I need you, for I have come to know that I am not able to do this alone. She paused a moment to hang her head in defeat, why had she given up on faith. it was the only thing that could keep her alive. Hope...hope....hope. Maybe it wasn't so hard to keep on trying. But, if your there to guide us, we still have to hope, don't we? Petaldancer cast a thoughtful look at all her clanmates. We can't lose hope...
