Amberleaf waved her tail good-bye to Fisherclaw and Sparrowtail as she turned and nodded to Gorsefoot. She was glad to have the friendly warrior to walk back with. As the moved away from the Thunderclan patrol, a silence extended between the two, this could have been because they both had prey in their mouths however. Amberleaf's eyes looked up dreamily at the sky, happy to just be alive for the day. She turned her eyes to Gorsefoot and smiled easily despite the rabbit in her mouth. The two walked toward the camp, Amberleaf not having a care in the world at this point. Little did she know of the fate that was to befall all the clans soon enough.
OOC: Go ahead and bring the patrol to camp Resta ;D
Gorsefoot felt a little thrill inside him when Amberleaf smiled at him. He smiled back coolly. He'd inherited his grandfather's acting skills, so he could easily hide the elation inside of him. Maybe he and Amberleaf could be friends, if not more. He decided that he could settle with that. The pretty she-cat was very nice and care-free. Oh StarClan, did Gorsefoot wish he could be that careless. As they neared the camp, Gorsefoot's thoughts turned to other matters, like the ThunderClan patrol. It was rather strange that he hadn't been worried about that before, given his normal manner, but now he had a chance to actually wonder what on earth they were up to. It was too small of a patrol to be a raid, and he didn't smell any backup. The young warrior began to get nervous and more on-edge than usual at the thought that some danger might come to his clan or him. Or maybe even Amberleaf.

Amberleaf hadn't really noticed that Gorsefoot's mind was elsewhere. How could she when her's was? The two entered camp, a few warriors tossing looks their way. Amberleaf led the way to the fresh-kill pile. It was more than full for the day, the clan would eat well. Amberleaf chirped in excitement, "Well done to all of us today! Look how much we have." She turned to Gorsefoot, the usual half grin on her face. She watched as he put the rest in the pile as well. As soon as he was done she quickly touched her nose to his ear tip, "Good job out there today." She pulled away and headed for a nice sunny patch in the camp, her golden brown tail flicking out behind her. Today was a good day... So far.
With a lack of response from the ThunderClan cats, Fisherclaw propelled forwards and led them all back to the camp in silence, her eyes never diverting from the trail ahead. Due to her reserved nature, Fisherclaw did not think talk was necessary - not even small talk seemed of any importance to her. With a small smile, she looked over her shoulder, tail sliding back and forth easily. "We are almost there. I hope you did not find me impolite with my actions." Turning back around, she expected the lack of response this time and continued trotting on, muscles sliding easily beneath her skin. The burning in her legs had long since stopped, and her lungs had stopped constricting. Upon returning to camp, she slipped in easily and swept her tail. "Welcome to WindClan."

OOC: As much as I love this RP, I'm beginning to lose interest in it. I don't want it to close due to inactivity, but that looks to be the way things are going. So, probably going to close it. What do you guys think?
