Sparrowtail weaved in and out of the golden brush towards the hunting patrol, his meager catch dangiling from his jaws. A deep marroon seeped through out the soft skin of his cheeks as a blustery breeze blew through the tom's golden flecked pelt, making him give a slight shiver. Shortly after taking a few steps, Sparrowtail gave long drawn out sigh. Where were the others? He must have ran a good length away to be quite lost. Sighting a rock on which he could stand, the tom's honey colored eyes shifted around across the tops of the grass, attempting to find any rustling or movement. No sign of any of them. He twisted around and found that a large deal of rustling came from the far east of him. Wow, I'm such a fool! I've been going the wrong way for the past ten minutes. With a shake of his head, Sparrowtail droped from the rock and trotted through the grass. As he came closer, the tom could hear the soft-spoken melody that was the voice of Fisherclaw and the darker baritone of Gorsefoot. Poking his head through the grass he meowed in a playful voice, "How did you guys do?"
Amberleaf nearly jumped out of her fur when Sparrowtail popped out of the bushes. Her fur fluffed up and her eyes were large round pools of amber. For a moment she stayed like that before she realized that it was only Sparrowtail. She laughed at her foolishness and chirped up, "We caught a particularly fast rabbit." She turned her face to Fisherclaw, an admiring half grin on her face, "Thanks to my cousin here. You should've seen her go!" Amberleaf turned her eyes back to Sparrowtail, "It was amazing!" Flicking her tail back and forth she nodded to the patrol, "I figure its about time we head back to camp eh? By the way, has anyone seen Blackstep?" The she-cat turned her head back and forth as if he would pop out of the grasses as well. Yet the sounds she heard were not that of her clan mate, but instead the sound of cats she was unfamiliar with. Amberleaf quirked her head to the side, "Now I wonder who that could be?" She turned her eyes to her companions. She didn't look worried, perhaps the idea that it could be someone hostile didn't register just yet. She frowned softly as the sounds grew louder. Over the distance she was able to hear the voices of at least three cats. She listened harder to see what they were saying. "Oh come on," started one voice, "We don't need Windclan's help. Opalstar should know she can rely on us to take care of things." "Be quiet Wildheart!" a second voice said to the first, "You should know when to hold your tongue!" "Easy Stealthclaw," a third voice chuckled if not a bit nervously, "Windclan should be more than hospitable. Well, considering we share the same ancestors." "You have to much faith in other clans Firepatch," the first voice, Wildheart, said. "Hold up!" came the second voice who had been identified as Thunderclan's deputy, Stealthclaw, "I smell someone!" Amberleaf tilted her head, so these cats were warriors, obviously. She turned her head back to her companions, not looking worried just curious. The sounds of the Thunderclan patrol drew nearer to the hunting patrol and within moments they were in front of the Windclan cats. The black furred Thundeclan deputy nodded in greeting, "Hello, I know this is a bit of an odd way to present ourselves, but... Opalstar wishes us to speak with your leader Palestar. Please take us to him."
A reply directed towards Amberleaf was cut off as a patrol of Thunderclan cats, a shocking sight to see since the Windclanner's were on their own territory. What are they doing here? Was the first thought that etched into his brain. He gave a shocked blink and hurridly trotted into the clearing where his patrol was. What is the point of this oddity? Sparrowtail ****ed an eyebrow at the request, a small one to be sure but it could also pose a threat to the patrol. "Really, you think you can just waltz into our territory and 'ask' to see our leader?" The tom quizzed, a look of curiousity overfazing the feeling of uncomfortabliness. Just because they were the 'mighty' Thunderclan, did not give them the right to tell the Windclan patrol what to do.
With soft eyes, Fisherclaw nodded. Of what she was sure of, she was sure of ThunderClan and her inability to defy. Looking to Amberleaf, Gorsefoot and Sparrowtail, she replied in a soft voice, "I will take them. If it isn't trouble, could you take the prey?" Fisherclaw could not say no to others and she could not say yes with a definitive, but she did and turned towards the ThunderClan cats. She was in no position to lead, she was in no position to argue, but her complacent and passive nature urged her to let them see Palestar. In just as soft and whimsical a voice as before, Fisherclaw offered a quiet smile, devoid of everything but kindness, and replied, "If you will have it, I will be happy to escort you to Palestar." And in the back of her mind, she thought, Because there is no way they could think any less of me back in camp. As a second thought, she bowed her head, showing she provided no threat. I am fast and thoughtful but I am not valiant and strong.
ooc; i hope you didn't mind. fisherclaw's character is like that. she does anything anyone asks. *neverendingtears* i'm sorry she's so weak and prevents/causes conflict.

His eyes caught the pale eyes of Fisherclaw as she voiced her idea."Let me come with you." Was Sparrowtail's answer as the words spilled from his mouth. It was not that he didn't trust the Thunderclan patrol, he was just quite curious of the whole perdicament. Sparrowtail flicked his tail lightly at the prey and then looked across at Gorsefoot. Come as quick as you can after we leave. Sparrowtail seemed to say with his eyes. Eyebrows narrowed as he gently laid the young rabbit he caught with the others and turned to face Fisherclaw.
Offering a small smile, Fisherclaw nodded. "Ah. If you wish," she replied in a breezy voice, yet more there than before. She did not wish to anger anyone from her own clan. "Though truly, if it is a bother, please tell me and I will handle it on my own while you head back yourself." She felt the strange cats' gazes on her back, questioning her submissive behavior, though ignored it. She had gotten used to others voicing their disgust or concern at her passive behavior and had almost come to terms with it and almost taught herself to ignore it. Almost. But with a sigh, she turned towards Amberleaf, offering a smile. "You'll head back with Gorsefoot, won't you? And be aware, yeah?" Her voice, still whimsical, held a tinge of worry for her cousin. Because she was there for her cousin, but these cats had asked and she was in no position to deny them.

Amberleaf lifted her brow at her cousin, not quite sure of what to make of the offer to take the Thunderclan cats back to camp. She tilted her head to the side questioning for a moment but then it was gone the next. She righted her face and grinned her half smile, "No problem from me. You and Sparrowtail head on back. Gorsefoot and I will find Blackstep." The she-cat turned to look at the gray tom nodding to him, "If that's alright with you of course." She turned her face back to her cousin, "I guess we will see you two back in camp!" With that she flicked her tail to Gorsefoot, happily beckoning him along. The deputy of Thunderclan watched the whole exchange with little interest. He looked as though he wished to be away from Windclan as soon as possible. Fisherclaw and Sparrowtail would certainly oblige him in a few short moments. Palestar was not exactly the friendliest, wisest nor oldest leader, but he did have a good heart. He would hear the message Opalstar intended to pass along. Now whether he reacted in a gracious manner was a different story. Still, it wasn't Amberleaf's concern at the moment. She turned back toward Gorsefoot after having picked up Sparrowtail's rabbit. She was ready to leave as soon as he was.
Foxpaw had snuck out alone just in time to see the patrol of cats with the ThunderClan cats. She gasped and ran back to camp. "What is it?" Finchtail asked her. "ThunderClan!" Panted Foxpaw out of breath. Finchtail looked worried. Keeping himself calm he asked her: "Do you have any idea why?" "No." Foxpaw murmured. "But I bet its not good."

Standing there awkwardly, Fisherclaw shifted her weight from paw to paw as she waited for someone to speak up. But the silence was so deafening that she quietly spoke up, "When you are ready, we will leave, unless you have changed your minds. I promise. Our clan is kind and Palestar is a kind, passionate leader." There was a dull tone hidden in her voice as she spoke of her clan and being kind and she recoiled visibly from the thought. But she couldn't help it, so she plastered a courteous smile onto her face, even though the ThunderClan cats were visibly questioning her ability as a warrior by body language. And, she thought, the one thing I will do for myself is keep my name and lineage a secret. Turning her back to them, she flashed them a kind smile quickly, before turning away and staring after her clan-mates. At the moment, the lactic acid was finally starting to creep into her legs and cause her to breathe a sigh. Because this meant the hunt was over and something so much bigger was about to happen.

Gorsefoot nodded to all who addressed him and then turned to Amberleaf, who had picked up the rabbit. "All right, let's get a move on," he said almost cheerfully. At last, he could be alone with Amberleaf, the beautiful she-cat who he admired. It wasn't just that she was pretty, he liked how laid-back and innocent she was. It was quite different from him. Gorsefoot himself was almost always defensive and on-edge. Even when he was relaxing he almost always had and eye out for something dangerous.
Ooc: I apologize for shortness
