Daniel sighed as he sat down in the pilot's chair. "I don't know why nobody will consider my plan. I thought it was legitimate." He said, slightly with a joking pout, although he had a linger understanding of the stress that had built up between Ghost Town and Dex. He paused for a moment in thought, then spoke, halfway in thought, "I hope they're all right..." He sighed, with a worried frown. "Whatever happens, I just hope they don't stay mad at each other. A small somber feeling washed over Daniel's emotions, and a bitter chuckle erupted softly from his lips.
ooc; tell me if this is wrong and i will change it asap. i just kinda winged the plan and chose ivo's. xD
ic; Strolling easily into the hangar, she observed the Panthera with a distant gaze, not eager to leave. Hands stuffed in her pockets, she leaned her head back and moaned, "What a drag." Stepping onto the Panthera, she ignored Ghost Town and proceeded to begin orders. "Emili... To NAGA headquarters. And, if you could, tell the other team that I require the man of best stealth out of all of them. If I remember he had blue eyes. Two or three inches taller than Shepard. Not stealthy-looking but his movements seemed fluid and careful. Exactly the man I'm looking for in this case. He will join us rather than remain with the other squadron." Pausing, she looked to Ghost Town. "And alert them in return that when we land in a safe area, the plans will be discussed." Turning away, she murmured, "That is all." Then turning to Shepard, she smirked. "So, Shep, I heard your plan earlier... I'm all up for it. However, you have to teach me how to raise the shield up while the explosives detonate. And you have to promise to get out of there with everyone, yeah? Because if the cities have a shield I give no doubt NAGA has top of the line equiptment."

Emili listened to Dex's order, with her new rank the AI was obliged to answer and fulfill the duty. "Very well Commander Soot. Heralding the OSS Sky Runner." The AI's comms went silent as she began to link the ships together. The Sky Runner returned her hail though the AI kept the conversation off the speakers of the Panthera. She preferred to just give the details to Dex later. The person that answered her was a tall man, not exactly the one that Dex had described. "Yes, what is it Panthera?" he asked, a sharp edge to his voice. "Commander Soot has requested that your blue-eyed male squad mate be transferred aboard the Panthera and that the particulars of the mission be discussed at our destination," Emili said cordially. The man growled, "And why should I do that?" "Because Lady Gloria has put the Patriot Squad in charge. If you fail to follow orders and the mission is compromised, it will be your fault Officer." The man fell silent before grumbling, "Very well. His name is James Foster. He'll be aboard in a moment or two." Emili said with a chirp, "Thank you. Closing comm link." With that the link between the two ships dissolved and Emili located Dex aboard the Panthera. "Commander Soot, the man you requested will be aboard momentarily."
Daniel looked over to Dex, with a smirk, though his emotions was unidentifiable. "Well, if we were to hack the mainframe- that of which is my speciality -then we might be able to get into the shield controls. We could set the bomb to explode, but someone has to remain behind in the shield to keep it up." He explained. "And unforunately that person would-" He paused, the expression on his face looked like he was trying to re-think his plan. "Would perish in the explosion. THat person has to stay behind to turn the shields on, after everyone gets out." He stared directly into Dex's green eyes, with his own dark green eyes. "There is no other way if you want to avoid heavy casualties."
OOC: Of course Shepard will not be going to stay behind, because then we have to shut down the roleplay. Let's send random NPC#24 in. :3 XD
Nodding with an approved glance, Valerie said, "Thank you, Emili," while waiting for James Foster to board the Panthera. Hearing Shepard speak, there was a terse silence between them. Pursing her lips, her eyes spoke volumes. "I trust you and Ghost Town and I want you guys to live nice lives and marry a nice woman and have kids and name one after me." Pausing, she stood and waited for Foster to board. As she did, she greeted him with a tight smile. "Foster. As you know my name is Agent Valerie Soot. I was formerly the hand-to-hand combat specialist. As such I have a knack for analyzing people's physical capabilities. I had come to the realization that you are one who is strong in the area of stealth and are also handy with firearms. Such a skill is incredibly important for my squad. You will be debriefed on the specifics when we land just like anyone else. Feel free to relax back here." Offering a hand to shake, he shook it. "I expect great things from you, Foster." Grinning, she turned around and resumed her post beside Shepard. "Emili, get us as close to NAGA as you can - safely." Turning to the red head, she grinned.

"Acknowledged Commander," Emili replied. As the AI started the systems up, the hum of the engine core began to increase. Gently the AI took the Panthera off the ground and taxied it to the nearest tunnel to the surface. Instead of going up while facing horizontally, Emili decided it would be quicker to go straight up vertically so she could accelerate out of the tunnel. She figured the Sky Runner could do the same if they wanted. If not that was fine. It was the Patriot Squad that needed to infiltrate anyway. Taking a moment to get the systems in order, the large round tunnel opened, the wind raced across the top which was so far above them. "Steep ascent preparations in progress," Emili announced, "All crew to their seats immediately." Emili waited for everyone to take a seat in the nearest forward facing seat that had buckle harnesses in it. Once everyone was buckled down Emili spoke again, "Crew of the Panthera, prepare for immediate steep ascent takeoff." Slowly she inched the Panthera closer to the tunnel. She increased the forward thrusters so that the front of the ship tipped up. She entered the tunnel until the ship was at a 90 degree angle. In just three seconds the Panthera shot forward and raced upward through the tunnel. They rocketed out of the tunnel within only a minutes worth of time. Tipping the front of the Panthera forward again so that they were becoming leveled, Emili changed their vectors so they would head straight for NAGA headquarters.
"Thank you, Emili. I appreciate the quickness," murmured Valerie with a small smile. Turning serious once more, she turned towards Shepard. "But on the serious side, you will instruct me on how to keep the shield up. When it comes to it, the decision between who will keep it up will be decided." Nodding slowly, she loosened her grip on the chair and neatly folded her hands in her lap. The chair seemed to engulf her small form, as it was made for a man to sit in. Hands wringing nervously, she tilted her head to the side. "When we land and everyone is debriefed, I'm trusting you to lead us - I'll be taking the rear." Humming, she added as an afterthought, "Though since I excel in stealth, I should go first, yeah?"

Emili did not reply to her new Commander's thanks. Instead she leveled out the Panthera and continued along a straight path to the eastern half of New America. She quickly did some calibrations to see how long it would take them. After checking the numbers Emili's voice rang through the Panthera, "Estimated Time of Arrival at nearest location to NAGA headquarters is six hours." This route took them less time than they had ever done before, mostly because Emili was flying toward NAGA at a rather fast pace. If their mission was to succeed, they needed to be there soon. The Panthera cut through the thin air of the upper atmosphere as she finally reached their cruising altitude. To Emili, it felt good to be in the ship again. The human emotions that always pervaded her when she was in her other host body were always so confusing and inconvenient. If Emili could have frowned in the Panthera's system, she would have. However, now was not the time to muse over her human body. Turning her attention to the crew, Emili observed their vitals and their body heat. Dex appeared to have cooled and her vitals were stable, very much so that it worried Emili. The rift that had pushed its way between her and Agent Ghost Town would not bode well for the future, not if they hoped to go up against the Splinter Cell. Henry would use that against them and pick them off easily. Emili turned her attention to Shepard, the man's vitals were normals and so was he body heat. She felt her mind ease at this. At least he was normal, like a port in the emotional storm forming between the other two. Next she turned her attention to James Foster. The AI had never had a chance to observe his vitals so she could compare. Studying them now allowed her to see that he was rather scared from the sudden take off they had just done. Emili would have smiled devilishly if she could. Finally she looked through her sensors for Ghost Town. The man was not in the common area like had been before. Instead he had withdrawn to the men's quarters and closed the sliding door. She felt his heat signature move toward his bunk, where he proceeded to land heavily upon it. His body heat had lessened only a little since they had climbed on board. His heart rate had resumed its usual beat, at least she could take heart in that his temperature would soon follow. Emili would have reached out through the comms to speak with him, but she did think he would accept her counsel. He seemed to care little for the affairs of the Patriots right now. It was a wonder he had climbed aboard the Panthera at all. Things were not going to be easy from here on. She hoped the man would get over what was going on within him and put his mind back in order. If he was going to do any good he needed to be the Bio-Agent he was raised to be. That much was for sure. Emili found herself being thankful that she had not formed the emotional attachment he had. Now he had to suffer as he let his heart die within himself so that he could complete his mission to change the world.
Daniel stared at Dex, almost with a glare like he was about to attack her and throw her off the ship. But he merely nodded and said, "Sure, 'commander'." A small sting was left in his last word, then he looked foward through the window in the c0ckpit. He didn't like the idea of Dex being commander, Daniel always thought it was Ghost Town's rightful place. Daniel also felt a bit of jealousy, that Dex was promoted over him, even though he was next in rank. "When we get there, there's likely to be a terminal, either located near the AI core, or somewhere in the tech facilities. I think we should split up to those specific locations." Daniel advised, then pulled out his datapad. "I'm downloading older schematics of the building. We had better clearance back when we worked with NAGA, so I had been able to get them pretty easy. It's a good thing to, their net is tight." Daniel turned to Dex, showing the images on the screen. "The AI core is here," he pointed to the lower levels, "And the tech facilities are here, "he pointed to a level a bit higher above the core. "If we manage to find a terminal, we'll be able to hack into the shields."
Valerie nodded slowly as she listened to Shepard. Tapping her lips slowly, she took a deep breath. "Despite my position as Commander I'm placing you in charge of the infiltration. You seem to know a lot so I trust you." Crossing her legs, she leaned her face in one hand and waved the other dismissively in an act of non-challance. Closing her eyes for a second, she opened them again, sending Shepard a piercing glare. "Shepard. Listen carefully. Once everyone is out safe you will be instated as Commander. Do you understand? I never even wanted to be Commander." A bitter laugh escaped her lips as she curled her lip back. "Misunderstandings cause miscommunications. So I'm making this clear. You hear, too, Emili? Ghost Town and Shepard are free to discuss this when it comes time but if possible, instate Shepard. I can't handle being in charge." Another bitter laugh escaped her lips as she moved to examine the building.
