ooc: no time to post now, but feel free to throw in romances or plot twists. Please be CLEAR if you're adding a problem in, and PM me to tell me what you're doing, just in case it is UNCLEAR. You can PM me after you add a problem to the clans, you don't have to check with me first. And remember, there's a gathering. ;)

Jackalfur gave Dawnfire a grin, "Well, no denying that I was hungry. But I felt like the sun was the better option right now. Feels better to relax." The tom tilted his head to the side, "Plus, everyone else is hungry right now. I'll get mine later." He flicked his tail playfully as he spoke. Dawnfire was rather chipper today, that put him in a good mood. Stretching a bit, Jackalfur rolled on to his side and laid his head on the ground, "I think I'll pass on the food for now. You guys enjoy though."
Dawnfire rolled her eyes. "Because it's against the Warrior Code to eat in the sun, right?" She gave out a chuckle towards her own joke. She crouched and swallowed her share in a few famished bites. She stood, licking her lips of the tasty meal. Her paws worked on the ground, she felt like doing something productive, something, interesting. Her eyes drifted towards the sky, and then back down and over the cats around her. Everyone seemed to be enjoying either the day, their meal, the sun, or just themselves. Her mind began moving over the things she could do, but her imagination wasn't on track at the moment, for nothing came to her mind. Her eyes fell upon Jackalfur who was stretched out comfortably in the sun. Then to the others around her who were eating among themselves, which only made her realize how quickly she'd finished her own meal. It was like she inhaled it. She giggled inwardly. Then her mind found it's way back to her anxious paws that were kneading the ground. She pursed her lips together in an act of annoyance and stood up and padded a few steps forward and into the middle of the camp. She sat down, and her tail raked back and forth across the ground. "I'm bored." She said matter of factly.
Acorafallen watched them with little interest as they spoke. But she did listen. Dawnfire's comment made a light laugh escape from her lips. "I can't blame him, the sunlight feels pretty good today..." she commented. Watching her pad a few feet away, she blinked slightly. "There's really not much to do until the gathering." she stated. "Although I think boredom is a good thing... you don't want something too exciting to happen." she added. Her fur fluffed up at a bird call. "OH dangit..." she mumbled. It was all poofy now and she looked like an apprentice consumed by its own fur. She quickly washed down her fur although her tail remained fluffed. "Darn birds."
Giving a accepting nod in Acorafallen's direction, Fallenreverence eyed the fresh-kill pile with a sort of admiring tone. Her eyes searched the pile for the perfect morsal of kill to satisfy her taste buds. No not a squirrel... She repremended. Their bushy fur makes it hard to swallow and the meat is stringy, if I do say so myself. Shaking her head, the she-cat continued her search. Mice are tasty, but many are quite muddy when they return to camp. Hmmm.... "Ah-ha!" She exclaimed, the perfect specimine found. A plump, juicy vole hidden in the fray of rabbits and sparrows. Using her paw, Fallenreverence gently scooped the vole up without disturbing the pile. Quickly, she balanced it on the pad of her paw and flipped towards herself. It landed right in front of her and she gave a merrow of triumph. "Yes." Her face lit up as she brought her teeth down towards the delicious smelling prey. Without relizing it, she devored every last morsal withen a few seconds. Pressing the bones into a small pile, she dug a small hole in the dirt floor, pushed the bones into it, and covered it with the remaining dirt.

Acorafallen gave an amused purr. "Picky today hm?" she asked Fallenreverence. She shook out her fur before rolling onto her back and staring at the treetops. "You know, it seems pretty peaceful this greenleaf." she commented. "Perfect day to hunt. But since it's so calm I guess we should expect a storm. After all, great weather doesn't last forever." she added. She had known this for some time. Every time they had such fare weather, a storm would come. Thankfully the dense treetops and the dens kept them sheltered. She watched the tree tops in a sort of distant gaze. Of course, there were those moments when the weather actually stayed calm for a few days before tearing the place up.
Stormheart eyed Dawnfire's kill, hunger rumbling in his belly. He started for it, but paused when Strikingmoon neared. Disappointment settled on him. He'd took the dawn and morning patrols, couldn't he at least have a bite to eat? The feeling went away as the two drifted from the pile, discussing a quick prey run. He immediately felt guilty. Everyone else had to eat, he had no reason to be selfish. He paused, considering leaving it to someone else, but promising to himself he'd volunteer for a hunting patrol before the gathering that night, he moved in and grabbed it. He was about to nod his thanks to Dawnfire, when Darkstar padded over. Stormheart watched the new leader, void of visible emotion. He himself believed that the deputy had always been awkward and unfit for leadership, but the past leader, Dewstar, had trusted him. Stormheart hoped Darkstar made up for social skills in a battle, or else he didn't trust his clanmates to the young leader. As if emphesizing his thoughts, Darkstar told Strikingmoon, "I'm your new leader!" and bounded off. Stormheart stood with the two warriors for a moment before dropping his kill and muttering, "... What?"
Hearing no one reply she flicked her tail and rolled on her back. "Suddenly silent..." she murmured. she slammed her paw into a fly as it streaked by. It fell on the ground, twitching. She looked at it before flicking it away with her tail. Despite the warmth of the sun, she felt a little antsy.
((maybe we should time skip in the role play: It becomes dusk and soon everyone is preparing for the gathering? Just a suggestion.))
