Hearing a reply to his call, the boy made his way toward the voice. He semi-staggered and semi-swaggered his way around debris and burning building chunks, such annoying obstacles. He circled around another to see two young women, both with ginger red hair but one being rather short. He furrowed his brows, this was just great. Now he was hallucinating a red-haired with with her own personal mini-me.
"I must be out of my mind," he muttered as he drew closer. He cast a glance from one girl to the other, "What's going on here?" They looked just as confused as he was. He automatically knew that not much information was going to be shared here.

Ears ringing, fingers digging into the debris, silent screams. He looked around with wide gray eyes, which had taken on a more blue shade at the moment. His heart pounded within his chest, hurting so much he though it would burst. He was on his knees and raised his arms slowly, letting his hands cover his ears that hid behind his straight black hair. It wasn't so much that his ears hurt, it was that he was in such shock, he could barely move. The boy let his arms down, and noticed a marking on his wrist. Raising it to eye level, his mouth gaped at the mark. 15 was the number ingrained in his wrist. His eyes shut closed as tears were strewned on the edges. "Somebody help me!" He shouted, his voice cracking in the middle. His whole body was shaking as he panicked, searshing to and fro with his eyes to try to find life.

His eyes flew open. Something was wrong. He could sense it in the air. He sat up and looked around. What the..? He was surrounded by ashes, smoke. He gasped, then ended up coughing for about a minute straight. Then, he began trying to remember what the heck had happened here, but nothing was coming to him. Where was he? What happened? Then, an even more frightening thought came to his mind. Who was he? What was his name? Suddenly, he felt a burning sensation in his wrist. He almost dared not look. When he finally did glance down, he was a number etched into his skin. 8? What does that mean? Then, he heard voices. Panicked, tense voices calling to each other. He stood, feeling himself stand with surprising sturdiness, and began making his was hesitantly toward the voices. Maybe whoever they belonged to had some idea what was going on here. He turned a corner to see some kids. They were around his age, and they looked as frightened as he felt. "Hello?" he called out to them, heading toward the group. He really, really hoped they weren't hostile. He didn't think he could hold off anyone at the moment.

The dark haired boy flinched when the girl had fallen back. "I'm sorry!" He said pathetically. Then a small 'yip' escaped his lips when he heard someone else call out for them. He turned his head to see another person, who was as lost as they were. The boy felt a small sense of security that everyone else was having the same problem as him. But he was sure that something even worse was going to happen, although he would have liked to believe it would get better. The boy began to calm down for a moment, and tried to think back to what exactly had happened. He froze up, eyes wide, as he could not remember anything, anyone, not even himself. The boy gripped his arms like as if he were shivering. "What's happening?" He said quietly, as tears fell from his eyes.

The boy, sixteen as the only indicator or a name he could tell, looked at the girl and lifted a brow, "Well I'll tell you one thing we aren't looking for." He motioned with his head to the wreckage of the place they were in, "A burning building." Glance around he only saw the wilderness they were in. "Any direction is as good as any. Might be able to stumble across something while we're out there." A frown touched his mouth, "My question is how are we going to survive? What'll we eat?" He turned back to the girl, a slightly worried yet slightly playful look in his eyes, "We still eat right? I mean, unless we were abducted by aliens and are now plant people who just need the sun to survive." His mouth turned up at the side slightly despite the headache still pestering him.

ooc; Goodnight! :)

A small smile played at her lips. "I don't know about you, but standing in the sun has done awfully nice things to my growling belly." She looked around some more, she supposed technically, aliens could be at play, I mean it's not like they could remember anything about themselves, right? Wouldn't aliens have the technology? And there was that weird conversationalist inside her head again, which caused an odd, slight sort of pain in her left temple. "Let's head this way." She began walking, with the others following. The boy's question of how they were going to survive rang in her ears. Yes, how were they to survive? Survival. What an odd word, they'd need nourishment. Water, and they would need shelter for when the sun would set. She doubted they would have everything figured by nightfall, so shelter was certainly going to have to be a must. As was food. There was a slight twinge in her stomach which told her she was in need of something, and seeing as how they weren't plant people, she wasn't just going to pick up some grass and begin munching away. How were they to find food exactly? This all seemed like too much. Panic struck her again, and she realize how annoying these flashes were getting. She felt like two different people, and she couldn't figure out how to stick with just one.

She tried to clear her head as she pulled herself to her feet again. Another person joined them who seemed just as lost as the rest of them. Something obviously wasn't right. How were they supposed to figure out what was going on if none of them remembered anything? No one was stepping up with some brilliant plan so she tried to think of anything. The only problem was nothing made sense, and because she had no idea where they were, she couldn't very well point in a direction and say, let's go that way!
She trained her eyes to the area around them. Trees, hills in almost every direction, and the smoke that still filled the air. Instinct told her they were far from any other civilization, otherwise someone would have come to see what was going on, right? Maybe. It was difficult not being able to answer her own questions. She walked to the top of the hill again, looking out over the destruction. Whatever that place was, there was no way they were going to find out now. Unless...she didn't bother saying anything to the others, she just made her way down the hill and closer to the smoldering remains. Perhaps there would be something here, something that maybe hadn't been destroyed. Everything was hot, and the air was much harder to breathe, but most of the flames were gone. There had to be some area that wasn't destroyed. She picked her way around, her head feeling clearer than it had since she'd woken. She came to what looked to be, well, what was left of, a door. A set of swinging doors, barely holding onto the side of the wall. She put a hand on it, pushing it back. She knew she'd have to be careful, as the walls could come down at any moment. Walls, as if they could be called that. There really wasn't a ceiling anymore so she couldn't say she was inside, but she was in what would have been a part of the building. It looked like whatever had caused this had originated from the middle. Perhaps an explosion of some sort? It was crazy how your brain could retain instinct when you had no memories of yourself.
The outskirts of the area were less affected by the fires, and there were file cabinets. Maybe there was something inside them? She pulled on one to no avail, it wouldn't budge. The other drawers were the same, until she came upon one and pulled open with ease. The files inside weren't burned, the cabinet must have not been too affected. She pulled one out and flipped through it. Blueprints. Of what? The building? At the top of the paper, was B.L.I, what did it stand for? She set them on the ground and opened more of the files, inside one, there were papers with pictures. Pictures of the people she'd just met. The pictures were plain, and on the side was information on them. Height. Weight. Age. Except there was no name, only numbers. She looked at one, a photo of someone she didn't recognize with the number 23 next to the picture. She looked down at her wrist, and the number 23 that was there. Looking back to the picture she thought, this must be me. She brought a hand to her face. How odd, to see yourself for the first time, when you're, what did it say, eighteen years of age? How odd indeed.
She tried to find anything else in the folders, but there seemed to be nothing. And nothing to explain what had happened to her a moment ago when she felt as if she was feeling whatever that boy was feeling. She thought she'd find answers, but now all she had was more questions.

The boy with the sixteen on his wrist followed the girl, just as everyone else did. They all moved timidly behind her. Glancing around he saw what the girl had seen, not much to look at considering what this place must have looked like before the fire. A frown touched the boy's lips as his headache steadily pulsed, as annoying as a fly. Heaving a sigh, the boy with the sixteen followed the girl in to where she stood. She was looking at some folders, interest and confusion plastered on her face. He lifted a brow at her, "Find anything?" He stepped closer to her side and glanced down at the folders, personal space not meaning much to him.

She looked over to the boy who'd spoken. He was much closer than she had predicted, and it nearly made her jump out of her skin. Not saying anything at first, she handed him the papers that held each of their faces. Her mind racing to determine what he'd make of the situation, for she didn't have a complete reaction herself. Confusion, yes. But overall, she had no idea what to make of the situation. It was odd, but she could feel how calm the boy was. And it almost calmed her. Lessened the, intricate connections that her mind seemed to hold. She picked up the blueprints of what used to be the building they were standing in and showed them to the boy also. "I...I think that this is blueprints of this building. B.L.I is at the top, but it...doesn't say what it stands for." It felt odd to talk, perhaps it was because it was so quiet, or maybe because she couldn't remember who she was, so the voice coming out of her felt strange, foreign. "I can't really make sense of it all." She set the papers down on top of the ones she'd already giving him, they were beginning to feel like a burden to her mind. She began putting her hair behind her ears again, even though there weren't any strands in her face this time. "I can't get the other drawers open. Besides, this place looks like it's about to crash.''

The boy tossed her a sideways glance before looking down at the papers. The folders held images and documents of everyone he had met so far, hold up, there was one he didn't recognize. Gosh did this guy look like he was a barrel of laughs, face set in to a hard mask, his mouth in a harsh line. His eyes were a soft blue, but held a deep seated cruelty. The boy with the sixteen on his wrist twitched his mouth in mild amusement, the guy in the picture was certainly not someone he'd like to meet. He glanced over to the words that accompanied the picture, the number given to this person was sixteen.
The boy's face drained off all amusement. Well that's just great, he was laughing at his own smug mug. A snort escaped him before he closed the folder and looked at the blue print. He couldn't make heads or tales of it though. Well, whoever he was, it wasn't an engineer. The boy turned to the girl as she spoke of the drawers. He passed around her and reached for them, they wouldn't budge. Well was certainly annoying. "I don't think we're going to get them open." He looked above, parts of the ceiling were hanging down in threatening ways. "You're right, we might want to get a move on now." He felt a small calm enter his mind alongside dread and fear. It was an impossibly strange mix of emotions that he wasn't aware a person could have. "Yeah, let's get out of here," A small edge entered his voice, "I'd hate to see you get crushed."
