Her eyes flashed to his and she replied in the exact same tone, "Right back at ya." She took the papers from him, folded them, and put them in the back pocket of her jeans. She lead the way out, and back towards where they started. Okay, more questions. No answers. What now? The only choice they had was to walk. There were no vehicles around, and from the looks of it, nothing else either. Perhaps they could find something along the way, but there was only one way to find out. Feeling awkward, she turned and faced the others. "I think our best bet is to walk until we find something. I'm...I'm not sure what, but maybe one of us will see something and it'll...jog our memory." She looked around, now she only had to figure out which direction they should take. She turned to the boy who was sixteen. "Um, any ideas?" It sort of felt like a weakness, asking for help, but what else could she do? Not make all the decisions for herself, oh no sir. At least she learned something about herself, she certainly wasn't good at leading. But maybe she was? She was the one who found the papers. She was the one who thought of just walking. But, wasn't it only common sense? Her brain felt like it was being pulled in several directions. Everything felt so unreal to her. Was it unreal? No, no it was definitely real. Right? She shook her head. "I just...don't know which way to go, or what we're looking for."

The boy with the fifteen approached closer to the girl that was leading them all. His fingers were tangling in a circle, fidgeting as if he were at any time going to be hit by someone. "Uhm..." He tried to speak up. "I think one of the first things we should do maybe, ah, we could perhaps try to figure out what to call each other, I mean if we all end up sticking around..." His voice was timid and soft as he spoke. He then looked down to his feet as he walked, and continued to play with his fingers. The boy had felt a sense of loneliness, despite being around these people. He didn't know them, heck, he didn't even know himself. The more and more he thought about trying to survive, the more and more he came to conclusions ultimately of the outcome of death. Tears threatened to spill over his cheeks, even though he had just dried them. A small sniffle sounded from his nose as he wiped his eyes.

The girl turned to him as she continued walking. What to call each other? She hadn't really thought about that. "Um, I suppose, if we call each other anything, for now, it'll have to be the numbers on our wrist." She looked down. "I'd be called twenty-three I guess..." Her voice trailed off. To be labeled a number? It felt wrong, and a bit weird. But what else could they do? They didn't know their names, and the only clue to any identification they had, were these numbers and those photos. She thought back to her own face, she was pretty, but she looked so...lost in her picture. She placed the image with the way she felt when her brain started to tug itself in opposite directions. Surely she was more than just that lost, fragile, pretty looking girl in the photo? And surely she wouldn't feel so torn between herself all the time? Except now she was. Was something wrong with her? She shrugged the thoughts out of her mind, and the brave, outspoken girl came through for a moment. "There is no need to cry, we've been dealt what we've been dealt. Now let's just get through this, alright?" She looked ahead again. Part of her believed what she'd just spoken, while another was still entirely lost and afraid. She'd have to learn to bury that part of her brain. However impossible it seemed.

Sixteen, as he suppose he now was, snorted softly and muttered, "Wuss," as he passed by the young boy who would be Fifteen. The whimpering little boy seemed a little more than annoying. Sixteen, feeling a little like how his picture looked, scoffed to himself. He padded behind Twenty-three as the group moved out. Not exactly at lightning pace, more like the gate of a blind wounded duck. Tossing a look over to Twenty-three, Sixteen lifted a brow, "So fearless leader, how long should we walk for today? As far as I can see, this whole dang place is filled with trees. We might be walking for days."

Leader? The thought made her feet stop cold. "I'm not a leader." She spoke indignantly, and realized she'd stopped walking, and continued. She figured she'd might as well answer his question. "I...I guess, um. Well, we should walk until we find some source of survival, food, shelter, that sort of thing." She pushed her hair behind her ears again. "Trees...yes, there seems to be a lot." Brilliant statement there, twenty-three. Twenty-three, what an odd name. Her mind was doing it again, she forced herself to focus. "Maybe we could get our own food when we all get hungry enough. Like, catch it or something." Leader, ha, like a leader would be so frightened to make a simple decision! She was jabbering on like a fool. She looked over at Sixteen, clearly his mind must be running with all sorts of insults and taunts towards her. What was she to do, tell him, again, that she had no idea what to do? Or what to say? She needed to her her mind back on track. Connect the right wires, and go. "We'll walk until we really can't walk anymore, perhaps we'll come across something. A house, a cabin, anything that could be used for both food and shelter. Perhaps even a store, maybe there is a town around here somewhere? Well, no, scratch that, I doubt there is any sort of town in these trees, but a cabin or something is our best bet." There, she answered his question. She had taken her sweet time doing it, but at least it was out there in the open. Was it a solid answer? Did it satisfy him? Maybe. Hm. It was too bad they didn't have a solid destination, because walking through these, what appeared to be endless, trees, felt entirely hopeless. "We may have to walk for days, I mean, what else can we do? Do you have an idea? If so, please share."

Fifteen, it was a strange name to him, and slightly amused him somewhat, because he thought the files he saw Twenty-three holding, ans his document that had his age, which was sixteen. And then he thought of Sixteen, who was seventeen. And as he thought of Sixteen, he let out a slight whimper, for the grumpy looking boy had scared him, and then Fifteen felt a slight wet sensation in his lower reigon. His face flustered for a a moment as he hoped no one would notice. "I-if we maybe shout for help as we walk, do you think anyone will hear us?" Fifteen tried to interject his own ideas into the conversation.

"Hmmm..." She said. She imagined being somewhere else. A flashback came to her. A man in a dark grey suit was in front of her looking at someone else. "That one can teleport." He said. She gasped. She could teleport herself and all of them out to somewheres else. "I can teleport!" She exclaimed.

Ooc: Yeah............................................ I couldn't really think of anything else. But I hope this post works.

ooc; Hm, to be honest bud, it's a little too abrupt, and a bit random. When we discover our abilities, it shouldn't be just a flashback that says, "She can teleport" ya know? I brought mine into play, but I don't KNOW, my character was just freaked out by what happened, she doesn't know she has telepathy. Besides, if you just did it like that, our characters probably wouldn't believe you. ^_^

Sixteen shrugged his shoulders as he walked beside the girl. "Oh I never said I had any ideas, more or less trying to stimulate your own ideas," he tossed her a sideways look. Turning forward again he smiled, his teeth showing and his eyes slightly cold, "If there are any signs of civilization this way, I'm sure we'll run across it." Tilting his head to the side and sighed, "It would have just been to convenient if there was a tower or a skyscraper somewhere on the horizon wouldn't it?"

Twenty-three turned a questioning gaze to his. Stimulate her ideas? And that was to mean what exactly? She pursed her lips, of course her mind would take his statement in every possible situation. Was it meant as an insult? Or was he simply implying the fact that he could tell her mind was in disarray? She shook her head, focusing on what was going on right now. She laughed a bit. "Yes, I suppose a skyscraper would come in handy right about now. I have no idea if we're headed in the right direction or not." Her brain began scattering again, worried she was leading them all somewhere dangerous. There was that word again, leading. She wasn't a leader, but she had chosen this way. And it would be on her if anything was to happen. She turned to the other boy, fifteen she believed. "I don't think shouting ourselves hoarse right now is the best answer." She loved moments when her mind felt clear. "Besides, it would be best if we got a bit away from where we all woke up, something tells me that if anyone else is involved in our memory wipes, we don't want them hearing us."
