Duskfeather purred loudly, though she knew it wasn't the apprentices' faults that they didn't know anything of the human world. "Food is caught and cooked for you here, it tastes much better than fresh-kill, if you can believe that!" She herself had taken a love to human foods, even though it was probably not amazingly healthy, it did not seem to affect her in any way, perhaps because she had once been human too.
"Cooked? What's cooked?" Sparrowpaw asked, standing close to Hawkpaw in the center of the room. "And if you don't get hunting patrols sent out, then who's the leader? And who brings food to you, anyway? Wouldn't you have to catch it yourself? Unless you're some kind of elder..."

"It is the way of the Creed. Usually our deaths are violent but quick."
Luke smiled warmly at them, "In our world we have what we call nations. Each nation is lead by a king or many representatives. We dont live like warriors do. In fact, most of us dont even know who our neighbors are. We all live together, and yet we dont. We rely off one another and... yet we dont. Its complicated but just think of us like rogues. All together but not really living as a group. We have dens and nests we live in and most of the time we respect eachother's privacy. As for food, we work on things to get what we call money. After we have enough of that we can go to what we call a store and buy from the owners of the store. They give us the food in exchange for the money we worked to get. That's their job and how their earn money to get food. Its a complicated process and yet it isnt. For now, none of you have to worry about where your food is coming from. In your world i would be considered a great warrior or someone of great sature. In my world i am very rich because my father was rich and he passed on his territory to me. I do work dont get me wrong but so long as you live with me you wont have to worry about food, clothing or a place to sleep at night. You are welcome here as long as you like." With that Luke turned toward another hall way and walked down it. "Explore my house if you want. If you break anything its alright, just try not to." With that Luke placed Duskfeather on the ground and let her walk about freely.
Hawkpaw glanced sideways at his cousin. "These humans are so complicated. Why dont they just live in clans? Its so much easier that way," he sighed. A few more moments passed before the golden eyed boy looked up. "So, lets take him up on his offer eh? Lets see what these humans are really like."
Tigerpaw's stomach growled, and he licked his lips. "Whatever you're catching," he piped up, "Catch it quick. Cause I'm starving!" He looked around at Luke's den. Sure enough, just like Sparrowpaw said, it was bigger than ThunderClan's camp! It was a wonder on how Duskfeather didn't get lost in such a HUGE place! Everything was unique and different from the outdoors, and a gust of cold wind blew when he stepped into Luke's den. His senses weren't as shart [stupid human stuff, he muttered] so he couldn't smell food that well, but it was there. He knew it.
Swiftpaw looked around the huge 'den' her eyes wide with amazement. Everything felt like a dream but whenever she touched something with her new hands it was real. Sitting down she grunted as her bottom hit the ground and her legs were stretched out farther then before. It would take some time before she got use to the two-leg thing. Actually it would take time to get use to anything!
"Let's go, then, Hawkpaw!" Sparrowpaw called, using one of her front paws - how strange - to grab onto her cousin's front paw. She pulled him along - another strange action that seemed normal - and began exploring the house with him.
Duskfeather shook her head fondly and rubbed against Luke's legs, ending up to the point where she was sitting on his feet, meowing softly.

Hawkpaw easily let himself get pulled along with his cousin. Whether his acceptance of the gesture came from being unable to pull back or just being surpirsed by it he didnt know. His golden eyes became playful for a moment as he then hurried after Sparrowpaw up the stairs. His legs seemed to being accustomed to being used to balance himself. He still wasnt used to it but it was getting easier. At the top of the stairs there was another all with more halls attached. Doors lined with the walls and Hawkpaw wasnt sure if even Luke knew what was in them all. He intended to explore them all soon... Well as soon as he figured out to open the doors. For now he managed to go through open doors and places that had openings. After a few rooms he found a room that was white and blue. The floors was covered in cold square shaped stones that felt good to touch. On the wall was a strange white object with a long silver neck coming off the back. Two small silver objects were near the neck so Hawkpaw decided to investigate. Gentle he touched the smooth surface of the silver objects. He inspected the smaller ones and found that they moved. He pulled on one and water instantly spurted from the silver neck in the middle. Hawkpaw let out a yelp of suprise and hissed at the water. "Thats the strangest way to get water... The dont need moss to get water i guess." Hawkpaw pushed the silver object back to the way it was and the water stopped. He turned on his heel only to find a bowl of water sitting just across from the water giving thing he had just investgated. Inside teh bowl was water and seemed to be easier to drink from. "Do you think its safe to drink?" He asked Sparrowpaw.
"I have no idea, but something tells me it isn't. Then again, I wouldn't really trust any water here unless Luke says it's alright to drink..." she shook her head softly, her green eyes dancing with mirth as she pulled Hawkpaw away from the room, and into another one. She froze, her eyes widened, as she saw something that looked like the inside of the monster raised from the ground, but much larger. She walked over softly and poked it, and her eyes widened when she realized it was soft. Jumping on it, she landed with a tiny bounce and squealed. "Hawkpaw, you have to try this! I could never go back to sleeping on moss!"

Hawkpaw saw the playful and excited light in Sparrowpaw's eyes. A great grin spread over his face as he jumped on to the strange thing as well. Indeed it made him bounce as he landed and he giggle to himself. "Its so soft!" He couldnt help but curl up on the strange thing with his legs close to his chest. He wished he could curl his tail over his nose but since he didnt have one this was fine. "How do these tw- i mean humans find such soft material? Ive never seen anything like this in the forest!" The boy's golden eyes flashed at his cousin. After a few moments he sat up and his light brown hair that faded to black at the base of his neck fell back in to place just above his eyes. "Should we go find Luke? Im starting to get hungry and im sure he's had enough time to go hunting already."
