Reggie, still panting from fear, let Rachael lean against him. "I saw this extremely stealthy guy. He only said a few words, but he knew my name," he said in awe. Then he began nodding slowly. "We should go find Thomas." As much as he didn't want to talk to the alpha, Reggie knew that Thomas would know what to do. He was a hardcase sometimes, but Reggie still trusted him with his life. Thomas would know what to do.

"Good to know I'm needed." She said sarcastically as she pulled on her jacket and followed him out the door. She was annoyed at the fact that Thomas basically said she wasn't invincible on her own. Like she needed him, or anyone for that matter to protect her. But she didn't say anything, she just followed him close beside him briskly. She thought of what Dean had said, that they had files on them all, and someone had one file they were particularly interested in. Did that mean that the others, all of her pack members, they had someone specifically interested in them as well? Would they show up sometime? She found herself actually wishing for Dean to show his face again. She was intrigued by him. She guessed part of that was because she also feared him in a way. As she would fear anyone who knew all of her secrets. But at the same time it was a relief for someone to say them out loud. It meant that none of it was in her head. "Maybe you should stop being batman, all dark and mysterious and tell me your plan. Are we just wondering the streets of New York for the fun of it?"
Thomas turned a glance over his shoulder, a look of irritation in his eyes, "If the others know what's good for them, and if they are in trouble, they'll head straight for my apartment." He turned to face forward again as they moved out in to the street, "Plus, I can always give them a call." He held up his hand, cellphone within his grip, and shook it back and forth sarcastically. The young man pulled the cellphone close to his chest and sent Rachael a text, 'Meet me at my apartment. Send word to the others.' He really didn't know if she was in trouble, but she would get his message soon enough. The alpha and beta walked through the streets, unaware of the conflict that Rachael and Reggie had just had. Thomas worried for them and Michelle. Little did he know that he would soon have his own visitor, however she stayed in the shadows as the moved by. She would have gladly confronted him there and then, but with Katie beside him she had second thoughts. The woman dressed in a black suit with a lovely scarf wrapped around her delicate neck watched as the two lycans passed by. She was one of the few females working with the group that had files on all the lycans. She grinned to herself when she saw the one she was in charge of. Indeed he was an impressive specimen of the lycan kind. Young, tall and in charge of his own pack, impressive indeed. The woman however didn't expose herself just yet. If Dean hadn't been such an idiot she wouldn't have a need to confront her prey. She would, just not yet. Turning down the alley she stood in, her ginger hair flipped in front of her face, glinting slightly. She would wait for a bit longer.
ic; Looking at Reggie, she nodded. "I... I did too. Well, he wasn't exactly stealthy... but he knew a lot more about me than a... normal human should know." Pausing, agreed with his statement about finding Thomas. But as a song filled the air, she blushed at the song, and flipped open her phone. Clicking okay to read the message, she forwarded it to everyone else in the pack - minus Katie and Reggie, seeing as she was probably already with him, being the beta and Reggie was right beside her. "Just got a text from Thomas. We're to meet him at his apartment." Stuffing her hands in her pocket quickly, she felt the sting of a paper-cut between the webbing of her thumb and forefinger. Pulling her hand out, she sucked on the wound, forgetting that there was a piece of paper she didn't have before, tucked in her pocket. Gesturing for Reggie to follow her, she decided they would make their way back to the apartment complex now. Great day for me to forget my purse, she thought, cursing herself inwardly. The slush that surrounded her bright blue galoshes parted easily for her boots as she dragged her feet on the ground. Despite coming away from her confrontation with no wounds, her lungs would probably hurt for the next few hours from her panic attack, keeping her from going on a run for the day. Which is why I usually act then think. It takes away the chances of having a panic attack. Frowning lightly, she sighed, shoving her cut hand slowly back into her pocket, once again realizing a piece of paper was in her pocket. I'll read it later, she thought. It's probably a... gift from Mister O'Gallaghan.
Reggie nodded slowly and began walking a little faster toward the apartments. He kept stealing glances over his shoulder, noting as usual what the people around him were doing. He hated normal streets and sidewalks. Alleys were much quieter with less people to keep track of. Reggie shook his head to try to clear his mind. How did people know who they were? How did they know so much about him and Rachael? Did the others in the pack have stalkers, too? Reggie kept looking around for flashes of dark shadows, knowing that someone was probably watching him right then and there.

Tossing an amused glance towards Rachael, she snorted. While smirking, she lightly bonked him on the head, glad that she was 5'11'' and tall enough to. "Calm down. There's two of us. They won't come and attack us when we're together. That would be foolish of them." Shrugging, she placed her hand back in her pocket. "Either way, we'll be fine. Thomas will know what to do. That's why he's Alpha, right?" Smiling reassuringly, Rachael trudged on, head low. Occasionally she would adjust the scarf around her neck that Amelia had made, and would smile softly as she did. Nobody in the pack really understood Rachael's attachment to Amelia and Frederik though, honestly, neither did she. It might have been the fact that she had been orphaned at a young age and sought out parental figures. Or maybe she thought of them as really close friends. Either way, Rachael was attached to them, and had always been close since she was young.

Reggie chuckled a little and tried not to seem as cautious. "I suppose you're right," he said softly, though he was still freaked out by that stealthy freak that had basically vanished into nothingness just a little while before. He couldn't wait to get back to the safety of his pack, with Thomas there to figure all of this out. He shuddered a little at a cold breeze that swept across the city, which felt more dangerous than ever before. He felt nobody could be trusted anymore, that there were a million people staring at him from all directions at all times and he couldn't escape them.

Katie rolled her eyes at the way he shook his phone. They walked along in silence. Katie eyed everyone they passed, checking to see if any of them were Dean, or another mysterious stranger. Every time they passed someone in a suit she did a slight double take, just to be sure. Arriving at Thomas' apartment, she plopped onto his couch, propping her feet up on the small coffee table he had. She looked around the very simple apartment. "You should invest in some...color." She stated matter of factly. He hardly had anything in his apartment. No color, and just the basic furniture. She'd go crazy with it.
Stomping up to Thomas's apartment door, she banged on it loudly, cursing him to no end. It had started snowing and raining outside, and her dark hard was scattered with droplets of water. Thomas had asked for a copy of everyone's key - which she loudly cursed about, seeing as she didn't like having an unwelcome visitor at seven in the morning - but hadn't given them one of his... Or at least, to Rachael's knowledge she hadn't. (If he had given the others one, she assumed he neglected giving her one, seeing as when Rachael was awakened at an early hour, she tended to retaliate. Once, she hit him in the arm with a pan.) Rachael cringed at the memory. He had been extremely angry at her. And it was their second week as a pack when she hit him with the pan. She regretted being the kind of person to, "think first, act later," but he had called it upon himself. (Though, she often told herself that to push back the guilt of her actions.) "Somebody open up," she muttered.

"Geeze! Hold your horses!" Katie called out as she walked to the door and opened it to find an angry looking Rachael with Reggie beside her. "Come on in, unless all that banging was because you don't want to come in." Katie smiled. She was feeling back to herself after her encounter with Dean and it felt good. She left the door open and went right back to her former position. Plopping once again onto Thomas' couch and propping her feet up. "Hey, Rach, maybe you can help me convince Thomas to put some color into his place. Isn't it a bit dull?" She smiled a sarcastic smile towards Thomas. Knowing he'd be angry with her, and tell her something along the lines of, 'Katie this is not the time to mess around.' She knew whatever they were facing was serious, but it didn't mean they had to act serious all the time.
