Ooc: Since in almost all rp's that Ive been late in I always start out with something like being away from the others and trying really hard to get back in the group. Its probably annoying to you guys so Im just pretending I was there the whole time.
Anwen turned twoards Isel and smiled. "There isn't anything to worry about." her face darkened. "Other then the lack of elves meaning deathly dragons around." She frowned. "What is there to do about it? Could we give elves more then one dragon?" She shrugged. "Guess we should just try to relax for a bit and enjoy the music." She made for her own flute and played in chorus with Troka.

Turning to Isel, Ariana gave a bright smile. "No, no! Good company is good company if you wish to banish such a thing as loneliness! Who you are is what determines actions." Placing a hand over her heart, she explained. "If you are good, you shall be. If you are not, then so be it." Nodding vigorously, she folded her hands in front of her again and smiled softly. "To be who you are is of your own accord." She listened to the soft music as she closed her eyes for a few moments. "Music is a magical thing, is it not?"

Kayus sighed. "It is, isn't it?" he said nodding towards the red haired woman. Wasn't she the one who said her name was Aria? No.. That does't sound right. Kayus thought. His brow furrowed as he attempted to burrow deeper into his memories. Anna? No that sounds way off... I'm sure it had an "r" in it. Ari...? Isn't that a boy's name?
Finally Kayus looked up and said, "I'm sorry, but I missed your name earlier. In fact, I may have missed multiple names..." His voice trailed off as he nervously glanced towards the mountains.
"Isel." He looked over to Kayus, and did a small nod. "I am very sure that you have not indulged my curiosity with your identity." Isel sighed, unfolding his hands and letting his head rest in one while his other hand held his elbow. "It is alright though, forgetting our names. I have nearly forgotten everyone's as well, it is just I repeat their names over in my head until it is memorized." Isel gave Kayus a gentle smile.
OOC: Gonna time skip us the two days so we can get to our dragons ;D
IC:
Troka sat aboard the small sloop that she had called home for the past two days. Things had seemed... uneventful since they had boarded the vessel. The two elves that had greeted them on the shore had finally given out their names, the man-elf was called Farinel and the she-elf was called Nastala. The two had seemed more cryptic than ever as the group made their way down the fast flowing river. They had finally left the mountainous valley that had gathered on both sides of the river about a day ago. Now on either side of the river were fast forests and fresh smelling air. The change of scene had made the hobbit happy, she was glad that the enormous mountains were no longer oppressively crushing them in the river. Troka had played her flute every so often as they continued their journey. However, she refrained from playing it all the time, seeing as one of her com anions decided to bring their flute along as well. At the moment all was quiet on the river. However, the two elves stood near the bow of the ship and looked rather tense, as if waiting for something. Troka turned her gaze toward where they were looking. Not to farther down the river was a mountain, much larger than those that had surrounded them in the canyon, rose from forest. Strange sounds echoed down from the mountain, sounds that Troka was unfamiliar with. She watched the elves' eyes scour the skies for something. The strange sounds that could be heard were becoming louder, it sounded like heavy thudding against the wind. Troka frowned softly. Something glittering sparkled in the sky, in fact, two somethings sparkled and glittered in the sky. The two elves tensed further, if that was possible, until those sparkling shapes grew larger and larger. Troka felt her heart beat quicken as the two shapes finally became to show their true forms. Diving toward the sloop were two myths that Troka had thought until a moment ago were nothing more than that. Dragons. Two beautiful and fierce creatures dove out of the sky and headed straight for the ship. Troka jumped up from where she had been sitting, fear racing through her. As the dragons approached, they let out a triumphant trumpeting of roars. The spectacle of the creatures caught the half-ling's breath in her throat. One of the dragons was a beautiful cobalt blue with lighter blue fins and wings. The other dragon was a dark royal red garnet in color, his fins and wings the color of rubies. The two approached at an alarming rate. Yet when they were in striking distance, all they did was hover and continue to roar. The elves locked their eyes the dragons, relief on their faces. They looked as if they had found their other halves. The two elves turned to them and the she-elf said with a brilliant smile, "Welcome to the capital of Vis'holmå, Ashal." She motioned toward the blue dragon, "This is Rufala." She then pointed toward the garnet colored dragon, "This is Kathurr." Her eyes sparkled with delight, "These our are partners and our soul-bearers. Soon you will discover why. These creatures are the reason you were called here. You are all to become the next dragon riders."
Anwen's jaw dropped. Dragon riders? She wanted to be one all her life! She didn't know what to say or do. She stood up. With a shaky voice filled with excitment she said: "Th-thank you. I -I dont r -r -really know wh -what to s -s -say." Her voice was high pitched. She smiled so brightly. She was scared and confused. Yet her whole body was shaking with excitment and suprise. She would do her best to help dragons and the world.

Fixing them with a blank stare, a trembling hand came to her cheek as Ariana stared at the dragons with a wide gaze - wider than normal, either way. Deciding it was safer to sit down, she clenched her head in a vice grip with her two hands. "Okay, okay. Too much," she murmured quietly, feet sliding so her knees would meet her chest. Taking a deep shuddering breath, she forced the nervous thoughts down and peaked a look upwards - maybe, maybe, they aren't real... Life was cruelly testing her. Folding her arms over her knees, she groaned and constantly slammed her head on her arms - which the action would either spur brain cell loss or bruises, both which were unfavorable outcomes. "If I had known I never would have left my home," she whispered.

OOC: Sorry Dewpaw, we're full ^^ and Woodfall, just a little something. You're character can't have wanted to be a dragon rider their whole life since they didn't know about it. Your character has never been to Vis'holmå and only those who have know about the dragons.

IC (Pre-Time skip):"Oh!" Kayus mentally slapped himself upon realizing that he hadn't introduced himself. "The name's Kayus, Kayus Netarn." He extended one of his big, callused hands towards the elf.
IC (Post Time skip): Kayus' eyes widened when he saw the dragons. They looked like living jewels. When he heard Nastala tell them they would be dragon riders, his jaw hit the floor. "You mean we're going to ride these things?"
He wasn't sure whether to be excited, or terrified. He'd ridden horses for most of his life, but these were much bigger, not to mention they flew. But on the other hand, they were far more beautiful then any horse he'd ever seen.
